commanding $5,000 at our Annual Bull Sale. 664 has followed in her footsteps as well, with a full sister to Cherry Bomb commanding $3,000 in the Dakota Charolais Classic 2009.
Red Smoke, sire of Cherry Bomb, was the 2007 South Dakota State Fair Supreme Champion and the 2007 American Royal Reserve Champion. His sons have averaged over $4,000 in our annual bull sales.
Cherry Bomb was the 2nd high selling heifer in the 2010 Dakota Charolais Classic at $4,000 going to Sever and Sons.
She proceeded to Denver, where she stood 2nd in her class next to the Division Champion.
After Cherry Bomb was brought home we sent Cherry Bomb to Kentucky for Courtney to show. Courtney did a fabulous job showing her.

Wells Ms. Red Hot Mama 9402

This red female commanded $2,500 for one-half interest and no possession to Monty Sever in fall 2009. She then went on to excel in the show ring, up and down the road with Andrew Odden. The first heifer from Red Hot Mama’s dam sold to Spencer Shrader in 2008 for $2,400. A full brother was born 5-1-10, had the highest WDA of 4.4 lbs. while residing at Yackley’s TransOva Center, and weaned off to an adjusted weight of 850 lbs. He then went on to become the highest selling Red Smoke son in our 2011 bull sale. Red Hot Mama gave birth on Feb. 6th, 2011 to a heifer weighing in at 94 out of "Fargo". Chilli Pepper turned out to be a heck of a little heifer. After weaning she hit the show barn and went on to become part of our 2012 NWSS Pen of Three Heifers. After that she sold to Sandmeier Charolais. Since Chilli Pepper Mama has done very well. Mama was flushed then was put into our fall calving program. Red Hot Mama has a bull calf in our 2014 sale. Mama was part of our fall program where she has had bulls in our previous sale and this year she has a heifer calf that we are are consigning to the SD Charolais Classic in Mitchell SD. Mama's red heifer is a stout, clean fronted, long and deep bodied, Reliance daughter. To see Mama and her offspring come on over and pay us a visit. Mama was flushed to Wells "Just-In" 3861 fall of 2014 where she gave 25 grade 1 embryos. We have since cycled Mama in our Spring calving program.
Just-In X Mama calves will starting hitting the ground in March of 2015.

402 has been a tremendous cow in the herd. Every calf out of her has went on to become something.
402 has given us all heifers up until this last year. Lot # 40 in our 2011 Bull sale catalog you will find,
Wells "THE BOMB" 0402.
Her daughters have all grown up and became as good of mothers as she is.
Our show heifer, Wells Ms. Red Hot Mama 9402 gave birth to a heifer on Feb. 6th, 2011 weighing 94. Sired by "Fargo"
Wells Ms. Blaze 8402 was sold to Drew Krehbiel, Kingman, KS. Drew then went on to show Blaze through the year of 2008 and 2009. Blaze is a Fire Water daughter.
Wells Ms. Icicle 7402 was retained in the herd. Icicle is a Cigar daughter.
Wells Miss Cigar 6402 was also retained in the herd. Miss Cigar is a Cigar daughter.
We decided to take 402 out to Yackley's Trans Ova to have her flushed to Red Smoke once all the OOH and AAHHing started with Red Hot Mama. The Platinum X Red Smoke mix was a sure winner for us on this breeding.
402 has given us a consistent calving record and calves to go with it. She is one of them cows that does well no matter what you breed her to.
GDSF MS. PLATINUM 53L

We bought 53L from Defoort Stock Farm out of Manitoba Canada. We brought her across the border as a donor cow with a calf at side. Her calf was just one week old when we picked her out of the calf crop.
We flushed 53L out to Yackley's Trans Ova Division in Onida, SD. On her first flush we froze 10 grade 1 embryos.
We flushed her to Fargo, Red Smoke, Detonator, and Stacker,
53L's calving intervals have been,
1-8-09, 1-14-08, 1-26-07, 1-28-06, 1-23-05, 2-15-04, and 1-26-03.
53L was stout, deep-bodied, easy fleshing and perfectly uddered.
We have 53L's progeny in our herd to date.
